WOW! Dying and coming back to life is surely the greatest feat...... ever!

May you stay strong.

This is a friends cousin - https://www.facebook.com/bradsmovement/ I am sure he would be a good person to reach out to if you wanted to.

Best wishes to you and the people around you.

Congratulations on surviving Joe, it sounds like that was a miracle in itself. I missed your posts on here and now sadly I know why. I am very sorry it happened at all and wish you all success in healing from this horrific event. I have friends who have suffered paralysis following kiting and other water-related accidents. It is possible that no one may know how much restoration of function can be achieved in advance. At least that is what some of my friends have experienced. I could put you in touch with them if you would like. Take care, keep the faith and keep fighting, we're pulling for you.

Rick

Near death? :D I was dead for 24 minutes. Left on the beach because they pronounced I was dead, then brought back to life. I don't know why I was chosen to go through this experience but someone is looking out for me.

And for those of you who are wondering no I didn't see the light and I have no recollection what happened before, during or after my death occurred.

Thank you all for reading my posts and posting comments, it just goes to show that life is so precious and literally change in an instance regardless of what we are doing. Get out there and make the most of it and when you are faced with a challenge at work, or in your personal life just think of this post and me and the challenges I face every day and I hope it inspires you to overcome your fears and obstacles.

What a most awesome thing to write and so true. I broke my back 7 months ago - it finally came right - then i just last week landed a strapless backroll really hard and snapped my ankle (i was fully back on form before that and had landed a trick i had been trying for 2 years 10 minutes before).. so gutted.. - so i changed my thinking this time around and decided to just do what i can do instead of waiting for it to get better - pausing life... But really the most important thing i reckon is surrounding yourself with lots of people with an awesome sense of humor as often as possible, reducing thinking time.. that is even better.
