Jesus walks are so cool if you Can do Them with style. But that is often the problem. The style........

Double half cab is a one balsy move.

It's been done with a kite, but any dangle at all ruins the aesthetic. Someone will do a real one with a kite some day where both rolls are fully inverted and on the same axis. Will be pretty bad ass when it happens.

I call any rotation freaking STOKE! I'm working on 15ft+, very slow, one rotation, front rolls with a pause if possible right now. Got them dialed in with the 14m in both directions now so onto the 12m tomorrow in nasty chop, lol. I love the slow graceful roll!

Douchebag clueless??? How kiter of you.

A half cab is a switch roll-to-revert. The half refers to the 180 stance switch. Double refers to the roll, as the trick maintains the 180 stance switch.

A half cab is a switch roll-to-revert.
?

Major definition drift occurred here. A cab is a caballairial, a backside 360 from fakie, not switch, specifically one pivoting from the forward portion of the board. A half cab is half of that. Fakie to fakie when Caballero did it on transitions, fakie to strong side on street.

With all the stance fluidity in skating and the death of vert it's just as easy to say switch nollie or with the migration to snowboarding etc. where pivot point gets mushy it could be weak side 180. This is pedantic but in keeping with the theme of the thread.

https://xkcd.com/386/

When it gets all futuristic and wakeboardy and kitey we don't really have the referents that went into the original trick. You could just say weak side if you need people to know that your accomplishment is slightly harder for you then it might appear.

So let see here. First Steve Caballero did a backside 360 from fakie on a skateboard. The Cab seemed to morph to a switch frontside 360 when it went to snowboarding. Then Dan Shapiro did that behind a boat as a roll and cut the rotation to 180 calling it a half Cab, then Parks Bonifay doubled the roll, then longwhitecloude called him a douchebag.
