Dear kiting friends,
First of all, I'd like to thank you for all the years you placed your trust in my designs. There's nothing more rewarding for a designer than to see countless people enjoying our fantastic sport and choosing to do it with gear that they designed. Creating kites has never been just a job to me.
Over the past 16 years, I have designed and developed kites and boards for many brands. Starting with Gun Sails then Liquid Force, EH and for more than 10 years Best Kiteboarding. I enjoyed professional work relationships with some exceptional kitesurfers such as Ruben Lenten, Gisela Pulido, Shannon Best, Kristin Boese, Sam Medysky and Youri Zoon.
The events of the past 12 months have steered me towards a new path professionally, striking out independently with the support of a team of trusted designers and passionate professionals. I'm focussing on the aspects of the kite creation process that I love the most, creating new concepts, refining prototypes and delivering a complete and balanced product lineup.
I don't think I've ever been as excited to launch a new product range as I am today. The 2018 Eleveight lineup represents the culmination of my 16 years kite design experience. I can trace the heritage of these designs back through each of the 1,500+ prototype kites that I've engineered and tested since I first started in the industry. These are my finest designs and I'm proud to be releasing them at the beginning of August.
Kiting and designing still lifts my spirits in the same way as it did the first time I kitesurfed. I love what I do and try to be in the water, kiting, sailing or surfing every day. I hope you'll take the plunge with me and try out our 2018 lineup.

Mutiny Kites had a similar naming program...
S-series (wave)
F-series (freeride/progression)
P-series (freestyle/wakestyle)

Definitely hoping for something like the original Best strategy - direct sales, lots of parts in stock, good service if necessary. That kite in photo looks a lot like an evolution of the Roca to me, good news.

In general, always good when the person/people with the talent and passion are in charge - instead of the people with only the money.
