Ultravioletta is nice.. stayed there with kids a few times.. you won't regret it.
Nothing is wrong with MIllennium. But I think it has more chop/swell than Ultra.

I've stayed at both, once at UV and 4 times at the Millennium. Most times with the family (and another family). Both are great places to stay.
My thoughts on UV
- Better launch with more room
- Cabarete Coffee next door
- Quieter
and the Millennium
- All the restaurants are closer
- Always someone to launch/land you
- LEK for lockers, code drinks, compressor, rentals etc. etc.
- Poolside service
I have also stayed at Ocean Dream and it is a less expensive option, still nice.
I liked being close to LEK (and Gorditos for daily fish tacos).
We usually ride on the reef or downwind to Encuentro so where you start doesn't really matter.
Guess I'm partial to Millennium or Ocean Dream.
One note is we have had numerous maintenance problems at the Millennium the last few trips with A/C and Hot Tub.

I've stayed ar all these places: millenium, agualina, palm Beach condos, ocean dream (not UV).
In the end it's a matter of personal preference. The descriptions above are pretty accurate.
I have young kids (10 and 4) and we ended up purchasing a condo in Ocean Point, the nicest property on kitebeach.
We prefer this location and just "commute" to town when needed.
Oh, and my unit is for rent
. Large 2 bdrm 2 bath, ocean front with a huge terrace!
Check it out, it was just renovated and really beautifull:

PM for any questions!

Ahhh so that is your place! Just went to check it out for wellness retreats I am hosting. I am so impressed with the way the designer reworked the teak with the whitewash. Impeccable unit. Congrats on it all coming together!

Thks Tracy!! I think you went to see it with Calin, right?
She mentioned the Yoga/retreat project.
We're planing to come for the february school break, but we're not sure of our dates yet.
Yes, Martine did a great job!
We were planing to come this August but I broke my leg, so we wont be there before Xmas.

Yep! That was me. That's ok. I'm scoping all the properties for the future anyways. Sorry to hear about your leg. Bummer dude. Come by my restaurant when you are here. I'll buy you a coffee.
