Never been, but heard good things about the spots.
But I personally will not go there...

do you think Turkey is now even worse (because of their dangerous situations) than Egypt?

For me it would not be a question of danger (which is probably still less than Egypt) but a moral decision.

Hi cyprusdf,
I have friends (good kitesurfers) been in Cyprus for 3 weeks last year complaining about the incredibly gusty winds there.
How is your spot in this regard? also very gusty or better?
thanks
Oh for sure there are gusty days but I wouldn't say these days are excessive. Certainly not enough to put you off from visiting, I'm sorry for your friends who must have been very unlucky.

Only one place in Europe I want to be in September. West Coast Ireland
West coast have every type of spot...Lake, Wave, Lagoon..whatever.
You could do a road trip to experience all spots from Donegal in the Northwest al the way down to Kerry in the Southwest. Guinness after sessions tops it all off!
