I'm in the market for a 14m kite... has anyone demoed the RS in that size and if so, how was it? I'm torn between the RS and the Naish Pivot 14m but haven't flown either... just going by the specs and some reviews. Also wonder which would be the lighter kite of the two. Thanks.

Have some guy here who have that size. RS is fast, great hang time and very playful and fun to fly! Reactive, stabile, predictable. So a great choice in big size. For sure not a bad choice! IF you want to go really really light go for 17, but if you want fun, playful along with power the 14 is great! I ride the FS in that size myself, and that one for sure is way better unhooked, and was way faster than the 14 I tried designed by Peter Stewie before, so much fun!

Here is the low friction insert. And the bar
how is the bar hole fitting the top of the QR? because on their previous designs (Best Red/Black bar) it was painful to hook back in if the CL was not perfectly aligned (also because the top part of the QR rotates) and had a lot of friction on the depower line (wear and tear!)

For dual depower-line there really should be a separator on pass-through for untwisting and non-locking/sticking to work. Do a couple of rotations and your safety might not work. Fail.

It is almost exactly the same system North uses, and probably very similar to just about everyone except a few brands.
As far as I know a 'normal' amount of twists in the lines has not been a problem when activating the QR on the current bars that use a similar system.
