Hi, I am considering upgrading my stock Glassflex Reactor FCS II fins on my Screamer 5.4 to a more stiffer fin. Does anybody have any experience or advice what fins are good to use for this board and why? Beachbreak with choppy side/onshore conditions and waves of 2 to 10 feet overhere...

Anything will be an upgrade over the stock fins, way too much flex for kiting.
I have an angry swallow, similar board, and went with a MR Twins set of fins. Such a huge upgrade in upwind pointing.

Well as a matter of fact I have absolute no complaints about going upwind, the board goes upwind very well. I always thinks this is due to the rather long straight rail. But nothing wrong if it would even improve

I love the regular Performer template in a construction that has some carbon in it or go full fiberglass. Regular surfing I don't notice the difference between the carbon and the regular honeycomb as much, but for kiting the stiffness definitely helps.

I am partial to the neo glass construction. The hollow core fins are very fragile. One hit on a rock and the are gone.
Neo glass also fit better out if the box because the are molded.
The plastic molded aren't very good, too flexy.
