Hello,

could you give me some advice?
Trying to strapless tuck with my Nugget but I can not go enough into the wind to turn the board with legs into new direction.
Looks like carve into the wind not good enough, I don't know.

What are the key elements to turn perfect into wind to make tuck turn.

Thanks a lot,
Ales

Are you talking cross off wind?

I know you meant to write "tacking" and sorry i have no tips for strapless ...with straps i like mid-air tacking after pop with down loop starting from heelside or toeside ...you'll get 2 line twists..fun

Hi Ales,
try this, carve steadily into wind , don't lean too far back relying on the kite, but try to stand tall, try to get the nose of the board through the wind direction.
2/ now pull your front foot back under your butt, and push out with your back foot, it's a kind of "scissor" action. slightly more emphasise on pulling your front foot which gets the nose of the board further round.
3/ quickly bring your back foot forward to touch your front foot, and put your weight on it.
4/ step your original front foot back.
done!
