Let me ask. If you never unhook why would you choose a true c-kite?
Because it has different flying characteristics. Hooked in tricks are more snappier instead of floaty, and someone who likes that kind of riding would prefer a C over a B. Plus more direct feel which a bridle can muffle.
C kites aren't just for unhookers, plus I like to throw loops in with my tricks (that are hooked in)
Good points! What Kites are you on? You mentioned something about a briddled c kite
Can you read? Do you know how to scroll up with a mouse? Just look back at what I wrote

As per above post - get your jump right and you're yanked off the water like a bridled kite can never do. Modern ones just as good wind range and just as safe as bridled kites, better looping and less downwind drift during jumps, and just as much height but you need to work the kite more to get it. Better for your technique early on as you have to get used to edging for control rather than letting the bar out and doing the
poo stance.
The dreaded poo stance is to be avoided at all cost! Single biggest form problem with post 2006 riders, its embarrassing

Actually making the move to C kite really improve my stance, no issues with poo stance
On bridled you can get overpowered quickly and I find myself having to push the bar out which can screw up my stance, somehow on my C kite I can hold my edge, send it and go for the pop without having to push the bar out that far and I am on the GP bar with oversized chicken loop. Same on my 12 m C, never got pulled off my edge.
So in a way C kite really improved my stance. Not sure if I can generalize I found that the ocean rodeo Razor 10m would mess up my stance too on its high range... But that's bridled C and has a special shape. I was comparing to 9m GP but still ...
Might be similar to something like Cabrinha FX haven't really tried on its high range so not sure. Not sure we can generalize...
Anyway it's hard to tell because maybe my technique just improved and I dont really use bridle kite anymore on their high range so that could just explain it.
