Ok, now I am over it. F*** this. Someone selling their SS2 ?
Did the update, switched OIS on, camera in wind shadow, weighing down tripod, still shaking like nothing else. Specially when zooming. Now it keeps telling me poor GPS signal (last year November same location all good), while filming it say motor error. It does not move up and down anymore. And the tracking is complete shit. What the hell did you do with the updates???
Worst session ever.

Toby -any improvement on the Soloshot? your last post seemed like you were exasperated with it.

ok, tried it today again.

Optix 65, I locked the zoom (since I assume that creates a lot of shaking)
put it behind a small wind breaker.

And for the first time I had good results, which I can use without any doubts!

Zoom a bit far out...but luckily it's 4k...so I can zoom in afterwards.

Unfortunately battery lasts only 1 hour (screen is off)...that should be 3, then it is really good...

Next time will try to add a power bank while filming...

I wanted to pick up a SS 3 Soooo bad but it seems like everyone who uses it has some type of issue. I'm going to wait another year for them to work out the bugs. I'm also hoping that they will create a better security device where you can lock it 2 a tree or something. That combo lock they sell is worthless.
