You are a Legend Bojan! I think the most dangerous part is Italy :)

I always watch Turkey from the plane when crossing over to the EU, gorgeous beaches from above!

All the best and good luck!
You should try Italy once and you will change your mind.We have mountain to snowkite and any other mountain sport at any level you may want, from beginner to the most extreme. We are surrounded from water, where most of the south has nothing to envy to the best tropical places. And all this with great food and good wine.If you have interest in history and culture we have it too,art is just everywhere. From an airplane you can not judge a country.Come and see by yourself.

You are funny (kidding :) . I've spent more time in Trieste you probably ever did :) I'm from Fiume. Never judge someone from social networks info ;)

About that you are probably right,I don't go to often in Trieste even if I live in Pordenone and usually when the Bora blow I go to Grado or Lignano.

Veliko hvala downunder!

Yes, I think it was obvious we were joking about Italy. I lived 4 years in Milan, and although it took some getting used to, I loved it :D .

Just an update. Now I'm in Dagestan, kitesurfing on the Caspian sea with a couple of amazing locals! Great people, great spots, great conditions, and even better food. Spots are in Sulak (huge lagoon with sand bottom, water knee high) and Kaspiysk (CIty beach, close to Makhachkala). All this thanks to my host Eduart Godjiev, who was kind enough to host me, take me to the spots and show me around in general. He discovered the lagoon in Sulak some 12 years ago, when there was no one kiting here. Now the local scene counts around 20 kiters. Here is a collection of the photos of Dagkiting :D

Hi again, sorry for spamming, just an update. Now in Kazakhstan for the second time, in the city of Almaty. Police in Kazakhstan is a disaster, asking for money all the time, inventing violations and so on, taking the documents and threatening, but finally all good, didn't pay more then 15 euros total for the bribes :D.

Anyway, managed to kitesurf at 2 spots in Kyrgyzstan, at the beautiful Issyk Kul lake with the view of the snowy mountains in the background, and close to a border crossing near Kazakhstan's city of Kegen, just some silly kitesurfing in a small canal and having fun with the local kids.

Many thanks Peert for the kind words.

I've made it to Vladivostok! thanks for all the support guys.

Since the last time I wrote I was kiting on a lake in north-east Kazakhstan, just a lake close to the main road (spot location: https://www.google.ru/maps/dir//48.7574 ... m2!4m1!3e0)

and on the Baikal lake, which was freezing but really amazing (spot location: https://www.google.ru/maps/place/Spaso- ... d106.17815).

Also wakeboarded a bit in Khabarovsk and was always warmly hosted by the local Russian watersports enthusiasts. https://www.dropbox.com/s/i2w2hqa32vuyq ... 4.mp4?dl=0 - they call the fail at the end when you catch an edge a "shvabra" - the mop.
