Constant New gear hornyness. Launch and land is the smallest problem. Been doing that on my own for 16 years with NO problems

It is launching and landing, the one social thing about kitesurfings predecessor windsurfing, you could just come in ditch your kit at the waters edge, take a breather and chat to whoever else was doing the same. Landing your kite, making sure you don't drop your lines over someone else, having to wind them up then trying to find someone to re launch... all a ballache. I've fitted a shackle to the sea wall so can use it, but it just seems so sketchy, nothings gone wrong yet, but...

Traveling on a holiday to a beautiful place and not having wind.
Had this for 3 years in 2001-2004.
The luckily I went to Brazil...what a relief that was.
On smaller scale: doing a day trip to a spot and A: having forgotten something like a harness and B: arriving and everyone is leaving the water exactly when you were ready to launch...and to top it, add rain just before you were able to pack up...

I come tom the spot with 9m kite as smallest. And get so much wind that guys twice my size barely manage to ride with 7m kites. Then I consider to get new smaller size, but not sure since such conditions happen only 1 time a year...

Equipment failures. Pumping up your kite and after you have gone to put on your wetsuit you return to find a deflated bladder. Bummer.
Fortunately did not happen during session.
