so with good accelerometer you can probably get it with cm precision...
Which they clearly don't, since there is more variation than that between 2 supposedly identical units, let along between 2 different ones.

Nice comparison. I have trace and like the gps tracking feature that overlays with aerial images. I always knew the jumps were wrong. I’ve also used trace for snowboarding and the battery dies within an hour due to cold temps. Wish I had the woo when I broke my tibia - would have like to known the height and gforce.

Still unable to ride from injury but I think the best setup would be a garmin watch and woo. Garmen does the same tracking as trace and has software that allows you to log miles for each kite, board, bar, etc.

they started out at 200 and went to 250. trace is 200. trace has gps. woo does not. Nerdy friends tell me GPS is expensive. From what i learned in school, this points to a cost control problem with the woozies. Law of economics, as time and velocity increase, costs decrease, let alone tech decreases over time as well. just sayn

Suckers are the ones paying $50 for a gopro line mount. That thing could be made in 10 minutes out of wire hanger and electrical tape...
for 200-250 you are buying a custom electronic device with proprietary software...
As I said you can make your own gopro line mount for literally free in 10 minutes..
Lets see how long (and how much) it would take you to design a woo/trace clone on your own...
Even if you go video-measure route, I doubt it would be cheaper and definitely not more precise..

You may want to think about buying a course in English language so you can think of some other things to say....
