I am looking for a new kite, but want to branch out a bit. I want a kite with some pop, gives you slack, but also fine for free riding. Think C4, RPM, maybe the Envy. I have a full set quiver of slingshot fuels so have that option whenever I want it. This kite I want something that is a bit less tiring on the grip and has a bit more depower. The old rebel is famous for never giving you any slack. It would just pull and pull and pull, good luck trying to finish your hand pass with it! Does the new 4 line rebel give you any slack? How about the cabrinha switchblade? I have stayed away from Cabrinha for my entire kiteboarding career but like I said, I feel like switching it up a bit this year. I would have loved to demo all these kites last year, but of course, like usual we got skunked at King of the Great Lakes Test Fest so I have no idea what is going on with the most recent kites.
edit:
Kevin langeree and that Naish Pivot!! I want one of those kites now.

Vegas on freeride. That's what I ride ... vegas 12m, screamer 10m, torch 8m and bandit 7m. Torch jumps are like rockets up, then drops you down like a sack of shit. Screamer is fun, bandit is smooth but a bit flappy, vegas is nice. Good jumps, easy to depower with edging. Fun ride.

Vegas indeed is great! So much more versatile than a fuel
