Board offs scored down because everybody was landing them too easy. I got the impression it was a bit of a chore, it seemed like a case of 'lets put s*** this too bed' for the likes of Hadlow etc. Time will tell which way it goes, interesting too hear how it appears the riders have no clue on the judging either.

You really cannot run a fair comp without making the scoring towards loops vs passes very clear beforehand... you can score relative in a heat but you cannot change these factors mid competition.
The fact that the scores added up to 125% was damn funny but rediculous.
If they don't make it very clear before the next comp and stick to it... The competition will become a joke and lose any reputation it has.
I like the fact Marc learnt the board off megaloop with a roll the day before.. then see how clean they were.. handle? No thanks lol...easy..
Also what I was mentioning before.. sideways twang... Some of the big loops on bow kites did next to nothing sideways wise... Sooo much weaker.
Interesting times.. pro riders are broke and no one is sure of the future direction of the sport.
I think we can safely say the board off kiteloop is a passing fad at the very top level... And board handles... A bit of an embarrassment at this level imo.
Cool interview.

There is nothing subjective about the fact that megalooping upside down and handle passing is a completely different level of skill to a megaloop board off. Like Marc said.. years to learn vs 1st try

Where did he do a Megaloop Boardoff roll ?
Just without roll.
Marc can do Boardoffs and Megaloop. Putting together doesn’t need much training. Therefore I wondered why it took the guys so long to do it...should have been at least 5 years ago.
No handle just rail is fine for basic Boardoffs...wait until they push further, like I think Antonin did: Megaloop Late Boardoff Board Spin (someone tell the commentators the difference between a Spin and a flip please!)
Will be interesting if they push those ML BO further for next year. There are about 300 variations possible...
E.g. a Megaloop Late Boardoff Board Pass...once the loop finished you need to Microloop and then let go of the bar and pass the board...then quickly back in again and steer the Kite. Wow !

I thought he said he can do them in the interview.. of everyone.. u never know... You may see a megaloop board off with a late handlepass.. I have seen marc throw in late passes after some nut case hooked in kiteloops... Depends on where they decide to take the direction.. it is at a bit of a crossroads right now I reckon.
Kiteboarding needs some innovation though that is for sure. Super high wind riding even hooked in was always more risky than most wakestyle. I like wakestyle but it has kind of turned into ice skating in terms of innovation and progress... Carlos has given it a bit of a jolt though..

to my mind richman did spectacular stuff, which was not appreciated by the judges perhaps due to poor scoring guidance? That was ashame!
