How do you find the EEZYCUT, cuts through lines without any issue?
It cuts through anything. I have tested it on cord similar to the depower line, and it cuts that too. Very easily.

Only issue is finding a good pouch for it. No real luck there yet. Wish it slipped into the little knife pocket on my harness spreader bar.

The pouch it comes with is excellent. Just slip through harness strap in a nice easy to reach spot and you are good to go. Best part is knife fits very snug in pouch so you can leave handle flipped open for even more quick access.

Thanks, seems like a worthy purchase

If you are worried about loosing the knife tie it up with a piece of string or fishing line that you know you can break/rip over with no problems. Then maybe it can save the knife if it is on the loose ;)

The fear I would have with any "jack knife" is that the spring mechanism that holds the knife blade both shut and then open would be quickly corroded and expose the kiter to the danger of a sharp blade unexpectedly swinging out ... or once the blade has swung out, that the blade would not hold in s locked position... and could then collapse back on the person's hand. Most springs are NOT stainless steel, even it the blade itself is stainless.

The pouch that came with my EEZYCUT seems fine, it attaches to straps and seems fairly secure, maybe a different model? It's got a massive velcro strap that folds down the outside onto the pouch itself. So far it's survived a good few crashes!

Bad idea, the handle is too short and could slip out of your hand. And when you are under water, you can't tell the difference between the handle and the cutting end. Better off using a bigger knife

Handle works fine for me. And like I have suggested before go with the bright colors for the knife.
Everyone should use whatever they feel works best, for me nothing on the market works better than EEZYCUT for cutting kite lines.
