Does any one know if this configuration works well? Thinking typically 2016/17 Bandit on Slingshot Bar (under bar depower).
Many thanks.

Actually, the V (or Y) height will be off but it will be safe. Try it in light wind first to be sure. The Slingy bar is single front line release so almost any of the newish kites will work with it. Going the other way, older F-one bar with Slingy kite won’t work, as it releases to two front lines and needs the bridle to be part of the design. Might want to double check but I am pretty sure this is right.

Thanks for that chart, which seems to indicate that slingy bar with Fone kite is ok but not an Fone bar with slingshot kite...

Anyone flying Fone bandits with Slingshot bars? My Fone bar just snapped a line at the handle mid jump- scary! I have a new slingy bar that I’m thinking of using. Seems like it should be fine. Just wondering if there’s other experience out there with it.
Cheers!

I’ve been flying Bandits for years with various different types of low Y bars, with single front line flag (currently using Ozone contacts). Kites fly fine, even on long (27m) lines.
Haven’t specifically used slingshot bar but if all lines are same length it should be fine. May need pigtails to change loops/knots at kite end....don’t know.

I do. It's fine.
I replaced the below the bar depower with a clamcleat above the bar. But it is still a low V with slingshot swivel. Works on a 10m bandit and 7m bandit. Flags to one front line.
