G'day all,
anyone get a chance to try the new 2018 North Juice yet?
I'd really like your opinion, especially the 17m.
Cheers,
Robbie

Interesting no more 18 !............it will have less juice !
Wind range on 17...6 to 16 knots...not much top end !!...i'm sure it can handle close to 20 knots...for 75-80kg experienced rider
No more green
Cranberry juice color

Looks like a completely different kite to the 2017. I have a 2017 18m and absolutely love it.
Was looking to get a 15 as well but now not sure whether to go Rebel or Juice in light of these changes.

... bugger, I like the green.
If the wind range is correct then I reckon it will go higher than suggested. I have a Ozone 19m Edge and the suggested wind range is 5 to 15 knots and I know I can take it to 20 no worries so I guess we should take the numbers with a grain of salt.

A friend had a new 17m Juice set up on the beach on a super light wind day. Probably 6-8 knots or so. I gave it a go on a 5'4" vanguard. I weigh 185 lbs. I don't have anything to compare it to, as I've never kited wind that light, or flown a kite that big. For me, at that wind speed, I had to kite downwind, no way to generate enough power to stay near my launch spot. The kite generally responded pretty slowly, but I was surprised how well it looped. What was interesting though is the kite loops didn't generate as much power as I had expected. For me, I think the kite would be more doable above 10 knots. I'd like to try it again with more wind. At 6-8 I could barely stay on top of the water.
