@Toby: I would have appreciated it if you had only deleted the picture and had then informed me about the takedown.
Nevertheless the picture is already out there and it is not going anyplace. I just won't be able to post it here to not get Toby into trouble.
Yes. Sorry. Had to do it quick since I had no time.
Thx for understanding

Having had time to think I don't think I'd let the name change put me off buying their products, if a 2019 Duotone Evo is as good in my quiver as my North one then I don't really care...but...it's still a crap name, I still think it sounds like a brand of paint or the budget engine in a ford... Duotone Ecosport Rebel.

I think they may be underestimating the importance of image in marketing.
I think they are just breathtakingly arrogant, always have been and what is about to unfold for them is well deserved. Doesn't matter how much money your throw at it or column inches of ad space booked, Duotone failed to provide image or sales success during an explosive growth phase of the snowboard market, so how it expects to work in what can be best described as a mature or slightly declining market with cynicism and apathy at best describing the attitude of would be purchasers.
R.I.P would have been a better brand name for what's abut to occur to B&M with that brand.

You realize that only 10 people on this forum care about this at all? Newbies won’t know or care and fan boys will be their usual addicted. This barely registers anywhere except right here.

Yeah right....
I wouldn't buy a Ferrari if it was the same product but rebranded as a Fiat...
They are loosing their history, their legacy and their image. When you do that it's all about perception.
Duotone is a fresh start and definitely an uphill battle, as they have to rebuild everything from scratch, especially when Cabrinha, Naish, F-One, Ozone and others can show that they made history in kiteboarding and still have the same name.
I am not sure about the tag line "True Kiteboarding" as well as it is arrogant and suggests that all the rest is fake or untrue...

I agree. I'm passionate north from the beginning. I buy north for about 9 years. I know. only the name changes. but for those like me who have chosen north for many years, finding duotone instead of north, sounds like a forced choice.
BTW i don’t know what to do. What to choose in the future.
