Gasstra Phoenix light wind 22mtr kite,
double front bladder
yes! 2 valves and 2 full length bladders just for the front tube
to be fair I did buy a brand new 26mtr Gasstra Phoenix at the end of the year for a silly price of around £260,
that was even worse,
by the time it was all blown up it was time to go home.
by the time it took to sine the kite to get going, I forgot why.
kite bag was the best bit,

I saw a lot. For me the worst was the Slingshot Link in either modification. Then tight after that was the Windwing Rampage.

The Windtools foils were not that bad comparing it to it’s time. G

GoPro...biggest bad luck charm I've ever owned.

Practically everytime I fire it up...I'll yardsale into a kitemare.

Buying a full set of new Cabrihna stuff, as my first gear (after trainer kite), on the advise of a friend "just get a 12m". Turns out none of it was right for our local conditions, and I had to buy a bigger used board, and bigger used kite, just to learn.

I owned that 2014 Cabrihna Vector 12m for two more years before ever having enough wind to ride it. And it's not even a great kite. Notice how few years it was made...

Contrary to pretty popular opinion, my worst purchase was a Ride Engine harness. Felt good in the shop if a bit fiddly with those straps, but I liked it there so took it to the beach. Did 2 sessions with it and fortunately was able to exchange it afterwards. I had to take breaks from kiting every 15 minutes because my back was killing me. I was used to a little backpain but that was manageable, this was a whole new world.

Exchanged for a Manera Exo. Not perfect, but worlds better.

2005 North Sumo 150. Paid full RRP on a 6 year old board because as a newbie I didn't know any better. Used it maybe twice :(

2012 cabrinha switchblades and bars. i didn't like the one i took a lesson on but figured it was old, and 99% of people around here fly switchblades so i figured i would like the newer one. kites were mushy and unresponsive, the lines on the bar stretched 6 inches in the first few months, and one of the depower bungees snapped from normal use, $70 replacement part because you have to buy another whole fucking depower system to fix it

on the plus side they held their value pretty well when i sold them after like 4 months
