I’ve used GFS for years, all over the world and found the most accurate predictions I can make come from correlating GFS to a shorter term model. If there is no correlation, the GFS is usually wrong unless there is an obvious flaw in the comparator(s). If GFS correlates >1 other model and tracks local observations it’s usually very good (except for thermal and other local effects).
But, I only trust it to be accurate for wind strength out 4-5 days except for the biggest events.
In spite of some decline in accuracy beyond 5 days, GFS is still the best trip planning model I use to decide if bringing gear or what kite sizes to pack, so good to post all the data to your page, or add an option to click to expand it. From my point of view at least

same here, 1-3 days is fairly reliable, 4-5 days is usually pretty close. 7+ days can be useful as a "something might happen" type of forecast, even though the numbers are totally wrong. my spot is mostly frontal wind when it's more than 15 knots, so the longer-term stuff can be ok for at least predicting when a front might arrive.

I will try to see what I can do but already having 10 days of GFS ( wich 5 days are 24 hours/day) is already a LOT of data to get. I'm scared I would slow things down if I put more. By the way GFS goes up to 16 days but I wonder if it's reliable after 10 days ?

But anyway thank you for your suggestion, I take note and will see if it's feasible.
I'm only seeing 2 ½ days on long term GFS, is there a way to get it to scroll that I'm not seeing?

You should be able to scroll GFS up to 10 days. On mobile it should work also (swipe).

If it is not working it's a bug. Let me know ( what OS/Browser(version) are you using? ) Thanks.

In regards to GFS I agree with you guys it's always been a really good model. Even long term up to 10 days it's good here in Montréal, Canada.

I'm using an Imac OS Sierra 10.12.1 and GFS won't scroll. We're too remote for phone service (land or cell) so no mobile device. Only satellite internet.

Grégoire - Well done. Really nice site. I like all the data in one spot and being able to compare spots. I even like the fonts.

OK, I'm doing it wrong. I was sweeping my finger across the mouse to scroll. Didn't think to "click and drag" it. It scrolls fine. Sorry.......
