Hi! I have the opportunity to get a Raptor ltd 2017 140x42cm brand new for the price of a used one. However I am in the 66-68 kg weight range, so I'm wondering if worth it (still not a cheap board) or should I get a smaller board, 132 or so. I ride mmostly in flat waters, have no problems to stay upwind and I'm just starting jumping, going toe side etc.

I definatley think its too big for you , I am similar weight and had a 142 it felt way to big and heavy and I found it harder to edge in stronger wind actually .

I now have a 136 which is much better for Jumps and grabs ect , previously had a 132 but the slightly bigger size makes me more stable on hot landings

Its to big. I have the 136 and 140.I'm 205 lbs. I use the 140 for 12 mtr kite. Once the wind picks up I'm on the 136,much smoother on the 136,easier to edge and the landings are much smoother.I honestly didn't feel a big difference between the 132 and 136 in steady winds 20 +.I lost 30 lbs over the winter and the 140 actually feels bigger now! All great boards in their wind range.

So, between 132 and 136 looks like the 136 would be a better choice as im learning jumps? Or wouldn't be much difference? In this price range i want to choose “one to rule them all” :D
