Hello, I am still a beginner and I am trying to learn using an old (2010) cabrinha that still is in good shape, however it is very slow to respond and the bar has some annoying features that make it hard to use.
I was thinking to get some new equipment soon and my first choice was the North Evo 12m with a click bar, however the prices are pretty steep and the local Airush dealer got me a great offer for new equipment (Airush Lithium SPS 12+Airush Lithium SPS 9m+Airush Switch 140 board+Core bar for 2672 euro (3180USD))
Getting the North alternatives (12m+9m+board+bar) would cost me 1000 euros(1200USD) extra.
Do you think it is worth it, does any one have opinions regarding the quality of the Airush equipment?

Definitely get the Airush, it is similar in quality and performance to North (high quality and great performance), and both are usually high cost as well so you are in luck.

If cost is a consideration, try to find used gear.
Kites 1-2 years old will feel much better than your 2010, but be half the price of new stuff.

Airush Lithiums are a really nice kites - I had 9m and 12m. Much preferred them to the 2010 Switchblades which I'd had before.

for brand new gear that is an ok price i guess, personally i'd never pay that much because you can get last year's gear for half the price, or used for even less
as far as the actual kites, lithiums are nice for beginners but they don't jump very well. good if you're learning or if you just want to cruise, though. the kites feel and fly really nice.

Thanks for the opinions.
I am looking at some other second hand options (2017 North Evo 9m for 700 euros but without a bar), and a new unused 2018 Cabrinha slingshot 12m for about 1500 with a bar.
However probably i will check the new airushes just because it is the cheapest option and the people seem to think they are good kites anyway.
One last question: what about the Best kites, i see they are even cheaper on their web site, but i am not sure what is the reason for that.

One reason Best kites are 'cheap' is because there's a lot of uncertainty about the company's future.
Buy Lithiums.

I have Lithium in 6m, 8m, 10m and 12 they are great kites, Durable + they handle well in surf, light wind and tricks. You can check around ebay, Ikitesurf, FB for used kites. I used to run the expandable AirRush bar and now I run all kites on a Core bar.

If you want to pay less for decent kites there are also other options that do direct sales.
Switch, Takoon, Gong, Stormkitesurfing etc.etc.
resale value is less but you spend less as well.
