kiteboarding at Russian River outlet / Goat Rock?

Postby knot_moving » Sat May 26, 2018 1:48 am

Visiting Sonoma County and staying at Rivers End Inn for a bit. Anyone know about kiteboarding conditions in the lagoon where Russian River enters ocean? I've seen references to Bodega Bay, and might wander over there if this doesn't work. Will consider Goat Rock beach as another option - if the surf isn't too crazy.

Also as an aside I would sure rather just bring a kite harness and wetsuit - anywhere in the area where I can rent a board for a day?
