Hi Guys and Girls of Kiteforum
Im searching for a new Board for North- and Baltic Sea conditions for Freeride and Freestyle.
After some research i found the Jaime, the Vision and the Monarch to fit best for my riding style.
Has anyone used two or maybe all of them and could compare them?
Im 83kg/182lbs and just starting with unhooked this year and want to use them with Straps.
Andi

Hi Andi,
As it happens, I've compared the Monarch and Jaime Textreme just a couple of weeks back in my search for the perfect board. To be honest, I could've taken either and be happy with them.
The key word for the Monarch is 'grip' . It just grips so well, has excellent upwind capabilities, pops really well, it's a true high end freestyle/freeride board. Also, being carbon it's quite stiff throughout the board so chop & landings are a little thougher. It will carve and it is playful.
The key word for the Jaime Textreme is 'smooth'. It also has excellent grip and upwind capabilities, great pop, but it goes about it a bit differently. It's an Alpina B5 vs the Monarch a BMW M5. The latter is less filtered, while the JT feels more effortless. It picks up speed very easily and you will stay in control.
I don't know how much of the Textreme is in the regular Jaime.

Both 2018. II haven't tried or read about the 2019 Monarch. I do know that the 2018 version is a bit more accessible than 2017 which was a lot stiffer in the mid sector.
