Eleveight Escape surfkite

Hello,

Has anybody tried the eleveight Escape? I have heard it weighs around 2014 kg only? I am interested in its strapless jumping capabilities

I think u mean 2014 grms....usually not possibile to have so light board if u want to use more than One time....probably around 3kg...

Sorry! I meant 2.4 Kg!..maybe they mean without fins then. Here, at 1.17 seg is the weight mentioned. I wonder how durable they are. Any one has tested them?

2.4 without fins its possible...i have One 5.1 very similar and surf construction its 2.4kg.with fins and back foot pad..i expect to crack every session but still ok...the Eleveight looks more reinforced than mine and its very nice looking ..for sure a good board ..if 2.4 naked probably 2.8 complete...very very good

I've spoken to some guys who use it and its made with 4 layers under the front foot, so I'd expect it's rock solid. Plus unlike the North boards the foam won't suck in water after it gets damaged.

I have a friend that owns that board, and he is very happy with it ! Not a big heel dent after many uses (not really freesytle, more waves oriented) I personally tried it once, and also like it a lot, so light and strong ! For sure will be my next surfboard ! I am currently using a Slingshot Celeritas.

and do you know if there is any difference between the 2017 and 18 apart from the looks?

Don't quote me on this but I think they used EPS on last years, the build quality is far better on the 2019 as they us PU rather than EPS. EPS sucks in water super quick when it dings. It's also harder to fix. Both use Epoxy. I'd never touch EPS on a kite board again.
