I am considering transitioning from Ride Engine to Dakine Vega. RE helps a lot for lower back pain, but it still rides up. Any feedback on Dakine Vega (or similar) for strapless wave riding? Thks!

I use a moded version of the Vega. The only thing going for it is its light weight compared to some others.
The spreader bar sux and has flimsy padding that may let it ride up into your ribs.
Swapped the bar to the widest 13 inch one to reduce hip swueeze and put a wide old pad behind it..
The top part across the back of the seat is very thin on padding and at times wedges into your back.
There are better harnesses around, especially if your back is a little dodgy..
