Sarcasm, as the original thread showed doesn’t translate between languages terribly well.

Expecting it to in this thread is daft.

At the end of the day it is Tobys forum.

If you feel that 27+pages of the original thread was insufficient then the issue is with you not Toby.

If he was presented with evidence that he felt warranted closing the thread then we should all respect his decision

Toby is running a forum and liable about it. Obviously he was threatened by Core with a lawsuit, so he decided to close the thread and advised me to not open further threads.

I can't blame Toby for that, he wouldn't want to be liable especially the thread was heating up.

On the other hand, Core showed their true color, by letting their distributors talk down to customers, instead of helping them.

When they realized it was becoming a PR disaster, they went ahead and threaten Toby to close it.

On the bright side, the thread is only locked, not deleted so anyone can still read it and decide if they still want to buy a Core product.

We also realized kiteforum is not a free speech platform, only run by a single person with best effort. Unless there was hate speech or illegal stuff I see no point of closing a thread. Core just played this really dirty, and lost lots of potential and current customers.

So Core is aware about the topic, but the only voice from Core we can hear on this forum is Graeme? Well that's a relief...

Wether or not the complaints from the original poster are justified is pretty irrellevant imo. That's not what got the topic to 27 pages...

Take an example for Dan-at-Duotone. Even when he's been given al lot of shit, he still replies respectful and correct, as it should be for an affiliate.

I don't have hate about Core at all. I was enjoying the kites till I find some serious issues then faced worst customer experience when I asked for service.

Yeah I tried to go kiting with what i have but this is what I saw yesterday: viewtopic.php?t=2400463&p=1027074

Same issue with the OP, so it's clear I'm not making this up.

Still waiting for my new brand kites so I can move on and kite.

It's so weird that you had to be a referee and talked only one side of the discussion and closed the topic. I don't think that's what moderators do. Regardless of the story, THE FACTS are
Core distributers don't store any spare parts
Charge you international shipping fee for it and
Attack their customers on public forums.

But yeah they'd rather tell a STORY, a guy couldn't get ambassador, bought kites from Bulgaria, then thrash talked about Core.

STORY vs FACTS. Even if the STORY was right, does it change the FACTS?

Don't forget PullString. He is Brett, aka Core USA himself. But yeah he'd rather not write his affiliation on his profile so he can trash talk and create stories freely.

Yeah I mailed many times to both Core Gmbh and Core USA as well before and after this thread. I didn't get a single reply. They rather filled the thread with personal accusations to me from PullString account.
