where did they say they have 2019 products?
They only said that they will introduce their products in 2019.
Danish daredevil Jacobsen, who jumped off of one of the tallest hotels in the world on his kite will become Team Manager for the North brand. Nick will be scouting for riders with talent, as well as working closely with Chief Kite Designer Pat Goodman, in the development of the 2019 product range.

My sources say the North products will be available mid 2019 so nothing wrong in naming them 2019 products. Just because some manufacturers battle on who is going to release so called 2019 products ahead of time ? I say if a product is released in 2018 it's 2018 why do otherwise?

I thought I read somewhere (on an official site I think) that NKB had to wait a year before they can use the name.
So that would mean they can release their models in august 2019.

But I am sure they would call it 2020 products...not 2019...imagine everyone releases the 2020 gear next year and only North 2019. Wouldn’t make sense.
But, from psychological view I assume they say now 2019...

North will come out with 2020 lineup in mid 2019
Have you ever thought why they actually introduce products half a year or less before the actual year? Many countries and big markets have their kiteseasons over new years. New products have to match with their seaons too, so they could prep for season and sell newest gear over the season. Otherwise these markets will be always behind.

Well... I assume the northern hemisphere is the biggest market. Am I wrong?
So to this logic new products should be introduced for the main season of the northern market...which starts in April/May.
BUT...new gear is available for purchase from August/September on. That’s the end of the main season...

So then I assume Nick won't be in KOTA again next year for 2 reasons:
1 He doesn't have gear (I would think he cannot still ride Cab in a comp like KOTA)
2 He didn't submit a video entry (unless I missed it).

Does everyone have to submit a vid entry? I thought they were wildcard entries only. (This was literally a brainfart so you're probs right)
I reckon he could ride Cab, it's not going to harm any reputations....unless he left under a cloud, or the lawyers get involved.
