Airush Lithium Progression 12m?

Hi. From what i can find Lithium Progression is almost a "cheap version of Lithium proper :D ".
For example https://youtu.be/RwmrOA12OC0.
i.e.3 struts, the same shape,4 lines. In the review above they do say that Progression flies "slightly" differently of course.
Anyway -
1)anyone can comment on this kite?
2).One kiter i spoke to briefly said that 10 is brilliant (he had one) but 12 is not that great.Well he is probably 60 kg and i am 94 :( Any truth in his opinion though?
3)From what i saw in the manual this kite should be fine with pretty much any equal length 4 line bar with low V . Correct? I have a Blade Unibar and hope it should be Ok with it...
Thanks!

different cloth, no load frame, simpler bridle, no one pump...
same pattern... yes, but..
It does make a difference to how it flies. Not at low loadings so much but at high loadings the Core is better and will wear far better too.

All Airush hybrids fly on standard geometry bars - ie all 4 lines the same length on full power.
though throw distance on the de-power can differ between brands, meaning that the available on the fly de-power levels will differ too...

Progression is still a really good kite - very smooth and easy to ride.. capable of a lot in expert hands too.

I believe the Lithiums like all Airush kites prefer low y lines, would a high y line set not work?

How high? If it is very high, ridiculously high it for sure affects how kite flies. Another question is whether lengths between front/back lines is different for different Y heights and how to measure it. Many mess these two different things together, like some do with AoA and camber change and their relevance for foil kites.

In general "high" Y will "work" in a low aspect small wingspan kite like Lithium - if line lengths are about correct.

:Thanks for your replies. As I am still a beginner I guess progression should be just fine for me :D
I have a choice of flying it on 20 or 24 m lines (Blade uni bar I have has 20+4 extension, it is a V).
What length I should use with 12m Progression I bought last week on sale? :thumb:

Personal preference...
24 will give a bigger power window but less efficiency and less reactive turning
20 will give a sharper feel, but less of a power window.

With powerful kites like this that have a lot of range I prefer shorter lines, but that's a more experienced perspective....
Try Both...

10ms are always going to feel better than a 12m .......thats true of every brand IMO.

Bud, you're overthinking it by a long stretch. Just go out and ride. Stick to 24m until you know exactly why you'd even need to consider using shorter lines.

Also progression has a SPS model that is single pump, highly recommended if you don't want to pump the struts one by one.

Thanks I am going cheapest. :D :D Got a progression 12 2018 for 720 euros from alex pastor shop....literally cheapest option i could find anywhere.Well i wanted to try Airush anyway.
One thing about pumping this kite - they say to use female 19mm (or someting like this) adapter to avoid stretching the valve.
Anyone knows where i can get one or a pump with one in europe? Are they made by Airush only or quit common? Airush pump is a bit expensive and i have 2 pumps already anyway :( :( Thanks
