I have always found Overpowered to be a confusing concept. I wonder if it is being used correctly. In my opinion, Overpowered is not the opposite of underpowered, but rather when you are powered beyond control...or? I would say the ooposite of underpowered would be well powered, or something like that.
But I am no native english speaker...

I agree xoen!
Overpowered is out of control.
Well powered should rather be used.

poll "sucs", not enough choices & not the right ones. there should be more answers possibel.
I like to foil moderate, lit twintip and moderate strapless wave... and lit twintip on a FS foil kite means mega hangtime... lit twintip with a lei means megaloop for some riders.. (and can be with the latest FS Soul as well megaloop..)

Some years ago I was (moderately) on the overpowered side. My "standard" sail was the Core XR 15 LW. After being lofted by a gust, I feel much more comfortable with a sail that is always under total control. Since the wind can be quite gusty here on the lake, when it's blowing 10-20-10 (it happens) I prefer my 11 and a large board than my 15 and a small board.

I feel overpowered is when you can't LET RIP and go 100% speed, the wind will rip you off your edge and spank you.
Moderate power is when you can always hold the edge no matter how fast or crazy you are going.
