It's not a bad stuff for certain planned operations ( but no real advantage either) but I wouldn't recommend to put it on fresh wounds/cuts.You would face a very high risk of infection,especially
if it's a water related injury!

Hmmm.........wish I would have had ZipStich a month ago when I stacked my bike in Marquette.

Wife is medical so we always have Steristrips.

I don't really see an advantage above Steri-Strips or Dermabond.

Does it really? I’ve heard of it being used but never thought this was widely practiced? Is it safe, all other things like cleaning etc being equal?

In 1942, while searching for materials to make clear plastic gun sights, Coover and his team at Eastman Kodak examined cyanoacrylates, a material that was used during both World Wars (1914-1918; 1939-1945) as an alternative to stitches on large cuts and wounds,[citation needed] rejecting them as too sticky.

Nine years later, Coover was overseeing Kodak chemists investigating heat-resistant polymers for jet canopies when cyanoacrylates were once again tested and proved too sticky. That time around, however, Coover recognized that he had discovered a unique adhesive.

In 1958, the adhesive, marketed by Kodak as Super Glue, was introduced for sale.[4
