Tegerinenashi. It seems you answered your question yourself. From what I remember it also took me roughly the same number of strokes to increase a bar. And I believe it is the Gas Law that covers this. Assuming volume and temperature stay constant the pressure is linearly related with amount of molecules. The increase in volume is low since the tube is not so elastic. At least mine wasn't. Next time I make a tube I will count.

I thought I would resurrect this thread as I saw Bruno mentioned in another. Has anyone heard about any progress Bruno has made? Bruno, if you are still monitoring this forum, can you give us an update?
