Lets hope so.
It might give too much glide tho? sending the rider out of the comp area in one or 2 jumps.
They really want to rip super high then down fast to loop landing for another jump option. That'ts what C's and Hydrid C's do.
Foils keep you up there a looooong time.

That is more a symptom of the trend in foil kites to be optimized for light wind. So it is more of an "available design" thing. Designers could tweak the shapes to make foil kites more of an "up and down" thing. But they would be starting from scratch, or going back to virtually forgotten designs from many years back. To me, it does not seem worth it. But I am an exclusive user of foil kites on the snow and have been since I started kiting.
Has anybody heard from "pump me up" on this one? I am starting to get worried Pumpy got hurt and/or is in a coma or something. He should have posted on this one within 45seconds of the original post. -dammit cor beat me to that one while I was still typing!

The foil kite bits are all on a Soul, can’t tell if 6m or 8m as they’re both the same colour scheme.

if you saw the live stream of the event last year, you'd see that young Oli was a last minute invite (someone was sick/hurt), literally landed in Cape Town in the morning and was riding in the event, and completely pushing the top riders.
I don't care what kite he uses, I hope he's in the event, this kid is a sick rider.
