Hi everyone,
im planing to go to Aruba end of May 2019. I assume it is the right time of the year to kitesurf there.
If so, can anyone recommend/advice in what area of the island to stay/look for accommodation?
Cheers,
czezz

There is rarely a time when you cannot kitesurf at Aruba.
May thru October Is very good.
Best conditions are on the windward side of the island at Boca Grandi.
It's not a huge bay with anything over 12 kiters and it's a bit crowded.
If you're kitesurfing, you can get outside the reef and there are no crowds.
Stay at Kite Inn
http://www.kite-inn.com Clean, comfortable, cold a/c, hot shower and
just a few minutes from Boca Grandi.

Hey Tim, much appreciations for all advises.
Is there any night life happening around Boca Grandi or at least a beach bar to have a beer with other kiters at the end of the day?
Do you know anything about other kite spots on the other site of the island?
Cheers,
czezz

There is a beach bar "Tortuga Beach Bar" at Boca Grandi..it is owned/operated by Pro Kite School Aruba
but open to all. Cold Beer and alcohol as well as burgers and chicken.
San Nicolas is the closest town...5 minutes away. I personally wouldn't go to San Nicolas alone at night.
If there are other kiters at Kite-Inn...go as a group. Bars, restaurants, drugs, hookers...quite convenient.
There is kiting on the "tourist-side" of the island...just north of the Ritz Carlton. It's called Fishermen Huts.
Its offshore, gusty, and can get crowded with tourist on hobie-cats, swimmers, windsurfers, and newbie
kiters mixed with semi-pro kiters.
Distance between Boca Grandi and Fishermen Huts is about 30km or 18miles and can take over 1 hour
to drive.
