I like 3 strut kites the best too but people can buy whatever they like. I have found that the pivot is really fantastic in gusty dangerous conditions one of the best kites out there. Doesn't yank as hard as a C kite but there's no 5 strut kite on the market better for gusty conditions. Just my opinion. Nothing wrong with 5 strut kites or 1 strut kites. This competition has been fantastic honestly the only regret I have is not seeing Olly Bridge make it so we could finally see a foil kite in the competition. Maybe next year.

I think the best final will be:
Liam - boots, passes, loops
Jesse - straps, loops, Boardoffs, passes
Aurelien - straps, loops, Boardoffs
This way we have all in one, the best show guaranteeed!
And award any new trick with +2 points!
Fingers crossed for a great show
If Liam or Jesse manage to land a clean KGB with enough height it'll be game over i think... assuming they make the final. From what i've seen i don't think anyone else can top this yet.
ps - i agree encouraging innovation is good but i think it needs to be an improvement/progression on what's already being scored for it to be worth rewarding.

Its shame that their not selected Olly to Kota. Of course he not did foil megaloop with board off, if he does it in entry video their must be definitely selected for this year. But i think Olly will be in Kota on 2020 if he do at least one boardoff or backroll with foil on megaloop.

Olly Bridge should be in this competition, he has boosted over 28m on his 8m Flysurfer Soul. I have been really impressed with Liam, Jessie and Lasse. I'm a big fan of Posito's all out style but think that Crazy Fly kite is holding him back, a few times it really chocked on the way back up from megaloops, too flat a design for that kind of riding ?

I think Jesse will win Kota this year. His riding style was most impressive still. Kevin nice but his style is already very understandible and not so impressive, no big new moves from past year.

perspective of a high up camera is not the truth.. makes jumps further out look bigger than inside ones. the horizon...

when you see this huge "first ever" and compare it to the paraglider dangle kiters with a handle on things, it is clearly as embarrassment to kiteboarding that this did not get the recognition it deserves by the judges. Even aarons dangle kgb won a few year ago.. but this side ways!
It has become a joke of competition after this.

Lighten up! this event is currently the best in kiteboarding if you don’t like it create your own better competition and try and tell us all how great it is.
If you don’t like it don’t watch it and maybe go out on the water yourself rather than moaning about people showcasing our great sport.

Great shot from Marc !
Been dreaming many years to see that kind of stuff. Horizontal in the air and rotating. Just spectacular!
Looking forward to more of this stuff from Marc in the future. Next step would be a double rotation
My money is on Aurelien or Marc to land it first.
