I've seen some vids of the new rpm.Claiming it has been changed for 2019.Not sure if its out yet for purchase? Has anyone tried it? Are the changes positive or did they ruin it? I'm using the newer ones with no pully(bungee) and notice they've simplified the bridle and added a pulley for 2019.My kitelooping (semi mega!) is done on my weaker jumping side and I'm always trying to get more height for looping .Thanks!

Reading here its really still the same kite. (bridle and rear connections aside)
You shouldn't be dissapointed.

Thanks,I'm trying to figure out if its worth it to buy the new version. My strategy lately is to buy 1-2 year old kites. But if the new version is much better might consider new in a few key sizes.

Friend of mine rides RPM's and tested this one last weekend (and some other kites too). He will probably buy it he said.

See if you can get him on here with his impressions! If you watch the hyped SS video it seems like a great kite just got better.Been flying rpms since 2012 and the new "improvements" sound interesting. But thats always worrisome, there's often side effects that don't suit everyone.I don't want some compromised design, change for the sake of change that many brands do.

Yeah they are hype merchants, rather than say "if its broke don't fix it" they have to invent buzz words for a graphics change.

Contrary to a retailers "claim" that the kites are a size bigger, it looks like they are the same plan dimensions, same panel layout, same bridal attachment points.

Can you demo?

Its winter here now.I figure by next spring a lot more info will be available from real riders.Just planning ahead.Got quite a few kites to sell, doubles of a couple of sizes, differant years. The one shop that was a dealer went out of business. Thanks

Has anyone had the chance to really test the new rpm? I would like to know how the unhooked ability is next to the earlier years.

Thanks
