If the wind is so light that you need a 14m kite.........you should try the New 2019 Mono. Much improved over the older versions. Will not back stall in very light wind, turns well and has a great dose of low end power. I'm coming from 2018 Neos, which I still love in powered conditions, but when it's light the Mono is the best choice. If you're using a 14 Evo to get going....... you probably could be fine on a 11 Mono.........

THe new 2019 Rebels with the reduced LE diameter added alot of range at the low end, made it a faster kite, and reduced the weight of the kite once inflated. Very high performance especially if you pump to 7.5 PSI. I weigh 240 and jumping 40+ ft the 2019 Rebels do not deform at all at 7.5 PSI.

Its a toss up with the 2018 Evo with three struts and thicker LE in terms of light wind.

Has anyone tried a 2019 Evo? Did they reduce the LE diameter the same way they did the Rebel? That would make the Evos into light wind machines.

Overall the Rebel is better for Big Air and the Evo is better as an All arounder and for beginners. The Evo is easier going and has a gentle loop that does not punish mistakes. The Rebel is finickier but likes power.
