Dimitri is on his second set of knees. Something that scares me as I approach my 40s and still kiteloop.
I'm hoping by the time I'm 55 you'll be able to just 3D print a new knee joint, spine, liver and kidneys etc...

You'll be fine, I look back at my 40's with vague memories.A lot is genetic, my brother in law has no knees,I'm doing fine even after dozens of injuries, they just seem to heal.Takes a little longer though.

At my age the only looping I do is a down loop during transitions to keep my speed up. I've had too many hard falls to risk further injury to my two bad knees, bad hip, two bad wrists and one bad elbow.
Now all I have to worry about is someone calling in a Silver Alert if I can't find my way back to my launch site.
Almost happened several years ago when I was kiting in a fog with only about 100 m visibility.
