Shall we keep the Lost & Found Forum?

Or have users post in the main forums if they lost/found something?

Thanks for any feedback!

I think that role gets increasingly accommodated by local facebook groups very successfully Toby. I know in this part of the world we have the Camber Group and it's the first place many go to appeal and recover lost boards. Having said that I guess the international nature of this site could be used by travellers who have been forced to leave a given area.

but then we don't need a dedicated forum for it if there is one lost per month...can be easily done in the main forum...which gets more attention any way...

Agreed, Toby, I just post such messages in the main forum anyway, and they have resulted in return of two lost boards to their owners.

I think the main forum area is best for lost and found.
it means everyone is made aware.
which in itself is good, as learning how items are lost could help reduce loosing items due to theft,or odd unwise practices,

Didn't even know it existed. Local social media will be much more effective.
