I just looked thru old pictures...and found one from my very first kite trip!
I started in summer 2000, and my first kite trip took me to the Maldives end of November 2000.
Villa Sun Island...13 days...and luckily had 11 days with wind ( I needed less wind back then)
I think I had a 9.5, 11.5 and 16.5 (which was more like a 19), which you see here in the picture.
I had a directional, and did my first jibes here...and my first Back 360 !

I only have pictures of the drinking and partying on my first trip. It was in Cabarete. I do remember kiting past some naked chicks skinny dipping though. We even had one of the first Go-pros. Unfortunately it was lost. Life giveth and taketh.
