I think at this point its pretty much a given that ram air kites are done.

Aluula kites are lighter, can relaunch better, more stable, more durable, better flight characteristics, more efficient.

RIP Ram Air Kites.
A rather premature statement as there are still a lot of open questions. We do not know how Aluula will impact kite design in the future yet. The Ram Air concept allow to design high aspect kites. Can Aluula do the same? We don't know yet. Can Aluula be used for Ram Airs to make them even lighter? We don't know yet.

Also, there are more characteristics with foil kites that Aluula will not be able to fullfill:
-self inflation
-easy self landing and launching (Which is quite important for a lot of people, including me).

Reminds me of the Naish sigma kites that were
going to be a big success.

We still gotta figure out how Aluula would handle freezing temperatures, when foil kites handle cold better than LEIs.

the simple fact that the likelyhood of not being able to relaunch is way higher
That's simply not true in marginal winds. Modern freeride foil kites like Soul and Nova will relaunch in much lighter winds than LEIs.
