Hard to say.
Gear plus travels (maybe worth 10-15 k) plus X.
X can be anything between 5-20k
Hard to say what a team rider is worth these days.
Rumor had it that Youri Zoom became 100k from Best.
But he got injured quickly, so only received a part of it.
That was, besides the early bird Marcus Flash Austin, the highest paid rider in the sport.
I don’t think anyone got more.
Gisela Pulido got good money too.
I don’t think there is a rider where a company would pay more than 20k extra to gear and travel costs.
I can be wrong of course.
Maybe someone else knows more?
PS: er are talking kite gear sponsors. Red Bull might chip in more so at the end they have more available.
In this regards I think Nick Jacobsen made some good extra cash with his stunts for Mercedes etc.
The rider who made the most money in the sport?
That should be Gisela Pulido!
Her father is a great manager!

The rider that made most? Robby. Easily.
His own kite brand, owned solely by him with no investors factories or licences to pay off
It might not be top of the tree now but as a commercial venture the guy killed it.

That’s a different thing.
What about Fone and Rafael?
Let’s talk straight pros here without any history of another sport, just kiteboarding.
Like Jesse, Nick, Carlos Mario, Aaron etc

I've always wondered how much these guys make. Probably schandalously less than a professional surfer like Kelly Slater, who are treated like superstars and receive millions. Shame, really...

They make a tiny percentage of a pro surfer.
It is a shame for th risk they are taking.
King of the Air should have 1 mio USD for the winner at least.
