Yulex harness?

Postby THOR_NADO » Sat Feb 02, 2019 5:16 pm

Sadly have I become allergic to neoprene rubber, but ut seems as I can use the yulex rubber. Do you know if there are any harness in yulex.

It's not Yulex, but I think this could work:

From personal experience it's an exceptional harness, but widely overlooked in the era of shell harnesses.

It's not officially stated, but it would make some sense that the RideEngine harnesses use the same limestone-based neoprene that's in their wetsuits...

I'd contact them and see what they say. Other than that, I'd say wear a good rash guard. :thumb:

I have tried the limestone based neoprene but it is not working, same rasches as with normal neoprene. But the yulex seems to be working.
Anyway did I send an email to ride asking for a small piece of material to test on my body.

Just a thought and not experiecne with this specific thing, but....

Have you thought of lining the harness with something like thin EVA foam, or just sewing on swimsuit fabric available at walmart or fabric stores? Definitely more work as opposed to just buying something, but about 40% of my stuff is home made/modified because this sport is so small that there is no profit in making something for every taste and need.

I have tried lining with fabric and it doesnt work, need to be a barrier. Eva foam could work, need to investigate further
