Switch Nitro 7

Having flown my Elements 3 and 4 back to back with Reo V3's at the time, I really didn't notice that much difference in feel and performance, so not sure where that argument comes from... Owned V1 and V2 as well, and only the V1 was on the heavy side, though it was similar as the Bandit3 I had before. Legacies are a bit heavy, but not heavier than a Switchblade for example.

Kinda miss my V2 btw... would buy it again if I encountered it somewhere. They were way ahead with the bridled freestyle kites at that time. Range and depowered steering could've been better though.

Check out how much he was throwing down on red bull KOA tv.
A park and ride kite does do all that stuff easily..

He rode the Legacy 2 years ago, and it seemed to loop fast as well... Legacy is not a fast steering kite. Guess jump height and ballsize matter most.

N-7 (if I get 1) would be my primary snow kite. Edge, Turbine, & FS Boost 2 are great snow kites. I am not into freestyle at all but hang time & light-ish wind performance would make a difference. Lots of terrain to go up in light wind & lots of looping to get there typically. My main comparison from experience would be to N-4 & 5 being pretty doggy unless fully lit.

I am thinking about buying a Nitro 7 but still have some questions. I like to do a mix of big air freestyle. I used to fly a Cabrinha fx and also love the feeling of an ozone enduro. Can someone tell me how the nitro 7 compares to open c three strut kites? (Dice ...).
Did somebody try unhooked on the N7? How is the line slack? Switch claims that it is also good for freestyle.
How is the low/high end?
How fast does it turn?

Don't know about N7 but the N6 did nothing for me I'm afraid and it will feel like a slow dog compared to the Enduro. Maybe the 7 is better...? The N5 was even worse, that had to be flown at the mid to upper wind range to get it lively. By the time you enough speed to unhook, you couldn't hold the grunt.

Awesome boost kite though. Still have my biggest jump records on the Nitro.

Don't want to be the devil's advocate, but could it be the other way around - and it's Storm who's marketing Switch's kite under their own brand? If I remember correctly - earlier Storm kites - were older Bandit 6 designs.

That being said, people might not remember anymore, but all first-gen Switch kites were nothing but re-branded Eclipse kites - despite all the fluff about years of development that Bill was pumping out.
