Awe man that really sucks....sorry you lost it. I lost my new GoPro Hero 7 Black last week while riding. Thankfully the floaty did it's job and I found it later in the day.

Just wanted to ask ya how the U-go mount worked out for you? I was going to order one and was like "oh shit" when I saw your pic. I realize it must be the Revl mount that snapped.

Hope it turns up.

hey man, yeah the adapter from gopro to revl broke.
the ukite mount is still flawless.
for me its one of the best kite line mounts because its simple and there is not much material where the lines can tangle up.
the only thing standing out is the big gopro screw, so if you use smaler ones you lower the risk of lines snapping behind it.
the ukite mount is also quick to install and works good with the revl.
the revl mount is sh*t.
the construction is weak and broke just from the power of a fully blastet 7m switchblade...

Do you mean the UGo mount instead of ukite?

You wont get it back, if it doesnt float, not a chance, sorry to say…

A bit late, but use a safety leash next time, it comes with the Quark default also (but not one I would use like it is).
Sorry, just like saying to someone who has lost a board, that he/she should have written name and telephone number on the boards

Have read about different mounts where the cam was lost, so "just in case" I have put a leash on mine too - actually, I have always done that on all kite and linecams :D

An offset cam here, use a string of line, here Q power line but could be any line, as long as you dont have to put it around your flying lines each time it is easy - took a picture not sharp but you get the idea:

Hey, thanks for the advise, but I used a leash.
That's the curious thing about it. Maybe it was the huge crash or a sharp edge of the broken plastic.
Who knows...

Dont use a leash with velcro like the one coming with the Quark for example - I would never trust one like that.
Better than nothing maybe, but no reason to take the chance...

I tie it firmly instead, with a line that is strong, just in case.
