My assumption is that it is going to replace the Ride. Same user profile but with 3 Struts instead of 2.

I think it would replace the Ride as alround freeride kite and the pivot would be placed more at the Big Air area. I also think, most of the people are looking for a three strut kite and 2 Strut is a little bit to strange for the most of the people out there

imo naish and the other top companies now realise that their marketing of many different specialist kites actually damaged kiteboarding.

It confused those that dont need to be confused, as far as perceived value, sure a few wealthy middle aged riders pay a premium for specialist top end perceived value that has grown in kiteboarding but the truth is we have seen a big downturn in the number of young riders involved in kiteboarding and that is going to damage it long term.. no grassroots

Agree with your first statement. Core fans were almost heart broken when they strayed from their two kite lineup and branched out to a myriad of specialist offerings.
