I believe it is the same positioning the Ride had. Very user friendly freeride kite. Is it needed in the product portfolio? There must be a demand, otherwise it would not be sensible to produce the kite. Personally, I think the Pivot and the Slash are very user friendly already in a freeride/beginner/intermediate role plus they can deliver performance. You can use those kites for teaching without any problem, that´s what I do with my son.

Triad meaning 3, Freeride, Wave, Freestyle.

Will probably be Naish's version of the Ozone Enduro, being able to be adjusted to each discipline.
I also believe the name says what the market positioning of this kite is. After the One strut kites these crossover kites are the buzz kites at the moment like Enduro, Nexus and Moto. Time will tell.

Oooo exciting!!! Always fun to see new products coming out.

Btw if this is a 3 strut ride....or at least taking the spot / positioning of the ride it will be more geared towards sheet and go style kiting then what the pivot is.

Be good to see... but 99% !... The Pivot was marketed as a "do it all", and is a a great kite, but it is bad at unhooked freestyle IMO.

I don't unhook on a regular basis, so no problem for me if that is true. :-)
It does everything else really well. I do think it has gotten a bit more aggressive in the last few years. Not a problem, but some riding likes a slight tad less of that. It doesn't mean the pivot is bad at it, but that it handles slightly different. For instance, a sheet and go type of kite is better for strapless tricks IMO....but it doesn't mean that a more turny kite will not work really well if it is well behaved in other aspects (stability, predictability etc.).

Seeing that the video states the release date to be next month, shouldn't there be a full length video out ?

I am really liking my naish kites these days. I started riding their boxer for foiling and now it’s rare not to see other foil riders that never owned naish Cruising around on boxers. I am even seeing surfboard riders buying the boxer for their light wind kites. The new model slash is getting hardcore converts.

Everyone’s like to bash Naish but they have launched some really nice innovative kites in the last few years. I have seen a nice Naish adoption uptick based on great kites.

The triad may not be a kite for me but Interested to see the kite and their new range of kites this year.
