Hi gys,
someone had any experience with a 2018 or 2019 10m Cabrinha Drifter? I want to change my 9 with a 10 but I'd like to know if there is a big gap btw the 2 size (like sometimes happen) and it feel much bigger and slower...

Hey Nic, I have used every size 7m -12m Drifter from 2018/19 (they didn’t change between the 2 years) and I’d say they are all scaled pretty uniformly. I can’t really tell where at in the line there is a big size jump if there is on. I know what you mean, sometimes one size feels like magic and all of a sudden 1 size up feels way slower or something but I’d say the difference from the 9m to 10m is no greater than the 8m to 9m or 10m to 11m in this case. If you go back to 2017 on the Drifter I did notice a bit of a bump actually though 9 to 10m but I think since Cabrinha redesigned the kite the sizing is really evenly distributed... Currently my 2019 8m and 10m sifters are my go to kites....

I have a 7,8, and 10m quiver.
The 10m doesn’t feel big. I’m a big fan of that size.
The gap of 8 to 10 is really nice. I could even do 7 to 10.
Play with the a and b settings. They make a difference.

Yeah I have 7 and 9...but with the 9 I'm quite always at the limit...so was thinking to try the 10...was just scared it feels to big and slow...considering the 9 is not super fast...but I'm getting nice feedbacks from you guys...I think I'll try!!!
Thank you!!!!

You will be stoked... now that i think about it I actually have a friend who has a 2018 drifter 7m-10m two kite quiver and I’ve never heard him complain of too big of a gap in sizes. They have a nice wind range for sure. Enjoy!

Hi Jon, do you prefer A or B setting?
