We're delighted to be able to bring you some big and important news from GKA HQ this month, with the launch of two new websites that we believe better reflect this exciting new chapter of unified kiteboarding and positive industry outlook that the sport is currently going through.

BRAND NEW 'ASSOCIATION' AND 'WORLD TOUR' WEBSITES FOR THE GKA
The role of the GKA is so much more than World Tour competition. The Global Kitesports Association was in fact first formed as a vision to help the sport's leading representatives and manufacturers work together to help secure a safer, brighter future for all kitesurfers around the world - professional and amateur.
Taking over responsibility for maintaining a stable and sustainable platform for World Championship competition came after that, and of course has now grown into the positive unification of the freestyle and wave tours into one operation: the GKA Kite World Tour.
For the last three years we have tried to deliver all the necessary news and information that the GKA has to communicate to its varied audiences, either competitors or instructors, governing bodies, political organisations and more through just one website.
We have just launched two new websites which will make it far easier for anyone to find all the particular information they're looking for, via one website for 'Association' matters and one for the GKA Kite World Tour.
The Association website covers all aspects of work that the GKA undertakes to help keep the sport safe and accessible for all. If you're looking for information on the sport, safety, or you represent a kitesurfing club and want to know more about how to help protect access to your local beach, then this is the website for you.

The GKA Kite World Tour features two disciplines:
Kite-Surf (Wave & Strapless Freestyle)
Freestyle (Twin-Tip Freestyle)
At the end of the season, after riders have competed at the GKA World Cup events around the world, the GKA will crown male and female World Champions, who will be the:
GKA Kite-Surf World Champion
GKA Freestyle World Champion

GKA MEMBERS BI-ANNUAL MEMBERS' MEETING
